Social Media and Technology addiction

People younger than 50 find it harder to “disconnect” even when they were supposed to, says GfK.

A worldwide survey developed by GfK shows that the difficulty to disconnect from technology is an issue that affects the world’s population, particularly up to 49 years old. Only after 50 do people admit that it’s not hard to live without technology.

However, even within this age group, 23% say it’s difficult to ignore technology. This proves that not only millennials depend upon gadgets and social media.

Teenagers between 15 and 19 are the ones who find it harder to live without their smartphones and computers. Within this group, only 15% say it’s easy to disconnect.
